What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils to enhance a persons wellbeing. Essential oils are extracted from natural sources such as flowers, seeds, bark, roots and leaves. Aromatherapy massage enables oils to be absorbed through the skin to bring about whole body healing.

There are many Essential oils available, each one with their own unique properties. Essential oils can be mixed together to create a therapeutic blend. Blends aim to help specific physiological conditions or promote certain feelings.

Treatments like this can help promote feelings of relaxation, relieve symptoms of anxiety, elevate mood and so much more. Some oils have properties which work to ease symptoms of digestive disorders, skin conditions and burns.
